Tiny Dragonfly is a mother daughter team who, like many mothers and daughters, like to keep tabs on the latest Hollywood trends. While some trends are thankfully short-lived, others are destined to become staples of a classic wardrobe such as our scarf headbands. When fashion magazines began to feature celebrities sporting beautiful fabric headbands, we were eager to buy some ourselves.

They seemed like the perfect accessory-a gorgeous solution for bad hair days, a cute option to play up a casual outfit, and a sleek and appropriate way to pull together a look for the office.

We hit the malls in search of headbands and soon found some in department stores. However, we were appalled at the hefty price tags ($45-$60 for a headband!) and lack of variety. Not to be discouraged, we searched on a well-known auction site and ordered from a few different sellers. When they arrived, we were again disappointed. Although they were more affordable then the ones we found at the mall, they were poorly made and too uncomfortable to wear for more than a couple of hours. We decided there was only one solution: we would make some ourselves! We began experimenting with various ways to assemble them so they would be comfortable and durable. We searched for a variety of fabrics that would appeal to differing tastes and styles. After trying them out on friends and family, we used their feedback to fine-tune our product. The end result was a headband that is fashionable, comfortable, and most importantly, affordable. We sell many of our headbands through word of mouth and are fortunate to have many repeat buyers. Several of our customers have told us that the thing they like best about our scarf headbands is how comfortable they are.

As our success with our scarf headbands has grown, we have decided to expand our product line to include items for our next favorite topic...babies!  We all know what a wonderful, enjoyable time it is to have babies in our lives.  We also know how incredibly hectic and challenging it can be!  We wanted to design products that would be fashionable and trendy but also functional and helpful.  We have added baby slings, diaper cases, wipes cases, and barrettes to our product line.  We know you will enjoy the same quality and attention to detail that has become our hallmark.  We hope you enoy using our products as much as we have enjoyed designing them.
